These measuring systems were developed for installation in a calender. The systems of the OTM-CT series are equipped with chromatic-confocal probe heads and those of the OTM-LT series with line lasers.

They enable non-contact, continuous and precise thickness measurement on firmly defined tracks.

These measuring systems enable non-contact, continuous and precise measurement of the thickness cross-profile of opaque flat products. The systems of the OTM-CC series are equipped with chromatic-confocal probe heads and those of the OTM-LC series with line lasers.

The C-frame enables track measurements at freely selectable positions or continuous measurement of the entire cross-profile.

Basis weight measurement with X-rays

The OBM-XW30 measuring system measures the basis weight of a flat product guided over a steel roll using X-rays.

Optionally, a chromatic-confocal probe head can be integrated to measure the thickness. The density can be calculated from the basis weight and the thickness.

Width/edge measurement with line lasers

The OKM-LT measuring system uses line lasers to measure the width and edge shape of the coating. If required, measuring heads can be automatically adjusted to the web width.
